Woods is gearing up to release a new album, Bend Beyond, on their own Woodsist label. Though it’s their seventh in just seven years, their output has never suffered. In fact, the steady stream of music has allowed the band to perfect their psych-pop sound.
Last month, they released the album’s first single, “Cali in a Cup,” and their latest track is similar. Its clean acoustic base is topped with singer Jeremy Earl’s falsetto, just like “Cali,” but “Size Meets the Sound” adds an acid-drenched electric guitar solo to darken things a bit.
Bend Beyond is out September 18 via Woodsist.
